Miten kertoisin teille tästä ihanuudesta... vaikeata sanoin kuvata ja toisaalta kuvatkaan eivät tee oikeutta. Mutta yritetäänpä, sanoin ja kuvin.

Sain tänään Stitched mailart -ryhmän toukokuun vaihdon, jossa aiheena oli perhonen. Sen on pistellyt Michelle Kreikasta. Kun sain kuoren ja huomasin, että se on Kreikasta, ryntäsin heti kauppaan ostamaan paksua jogurttia, hunajaa ja mantelirouhetta. Rakastan kreikkalaista ruokaa ja em. kolmesta ainesosasta tulee yksi ihanimmista (ja helppo tehdä) jälkiruoista mitä tiedän. Halusin oikein paneutua aarteeni tutkimiseen :)

*** How can I tell you about this lovely mailart I got today. It is stitched by Michelle from Greece. Words are not enough and on the other hand, the pictures won´t show how lovely the envelope is. But I try to tell you with words and pictures. When I saw my mailart is from Greece, I first "run" into the shop and bought yoghurt, honey and almond. I love Greek food and something like this is one of Greek dessert  I believe...

Nautin suussasulavasta herkustani, avasin kuoren ja löysin jotain ihanaa...

Sain Michelleltä Variation color -lankoja, Blackbird Designin mallin, jota hän oli käyttänyt kuoren takaosan pistelyissä, sakset!! (ne ovat olleet ostoslistallani) ja upeita nappeja. Tässä lähikuva napeista, uskokaa tai älkää, ne ova Michellen itsensä tekemiä!
*** My great gift was Variation color -flosses, scissors !! (for a long time those have been in my shopping list), Blackbird design´s chart which she had used on the back of the MA and some stunning buttons. Here is a closer picture of the buttons - believe it or not, but they are made by Michelle herself! I shall never use them in any other work than something that is going to stay in this house :) Sorry ladies, not for exchanges...
